Exciting news after already having an interface to Quickbooks desktop we now have our official tokens to interface to Quickbooks online. We now can seamlessly input information directly into Quickbooks online from Synergy Matters. Every client can have an individual trust account instead of showing it as a pooled account.

Exciting news, we now have a user customizable interface for document automation. Ok it’s not scary, it’s just a word doc converted by Adobe. You can create an intake form that will automatically add fields to a database and create a database per client. We do this all in the background so it’s all seamless for the user.

Synergy Matters 4 announces the best time tracking available for Lawyers

SYNERGY MATTERS 4 TIME TRACKING

Now with Manual and Automatic Timers

On the left side is your un-posted time, by client, gathered from both manual and automatic timers, and on the right side, is all your posted time.

The automatic timers, will track time and events when a manual timer is not running.

To the right you can see all your posted time, by day / week and month. At a glance visually you can see where potential time has been missed IE May 28th.  When you highlight a day, the clients you posted time to are displayed, along with your explanation for those time transaction’s. They are all editable until posted to accounting.

When you select either a timer transaction or an automatic timed event for edit/ posting, it opens to show you all the events that have happened during that time period.An explanation screen is on the right and your transaction types will mirror the transaction or explanation codes that you have in your accounting program.

The example below shows for the .3 time there were 3 documents created, 2 opened and an email saved to the file. We even include the name of the documents.

You can run multiple timers through out the day and can turn them on from either the front screen of

Synergy, from inside the matter, or from the app in your task bar.  You can even post directly a time

transaction from the main Synergy screen.

A new time sheet that combines the best of manual timers with our automatic time tracking. Standardized naming with the date automatically added the the front of a file name.

An opposing lawyer database which enables filling out of co-correspondence to opposing lawyer along with a dedicated button for sending an email or fax to opposing council.

Based on feedback from a law firm, Synergy Matters now has “Corporate Doc’s” a file folder that is invisible to non authorized staff and has the abilities to be positioned in a folder with Microsoft permission’s. This gives the administration all the function’s of the document management system  and the security and isolation they need for human resource files etc.

Geek alert. Synergy Matters now incorporates distributed computing to convert PDF’s to searchable PDF’s. Using a single thread on each of the computers on the network. A tremendous number of PDF documents can be processed into searchable ones, quickly with out slowing down the network. The benefits is that the job of creating the searchable PDF’s  can be removed from the scanner or MFP and distributed across the network, allowing for faster scanning, saving staff time. All old PDF’s copied into Synergy Matters will be converted in the background.
